Bantry House

Our Area

Bantry House is a large stately home overlooking Bantry Bay in the south west of Ireland.

It is spectacularly situated and wonderfully furnished. It is full of treasures - art, furniture and tapestries - collected by various generations of Earls of Bantry from all parts of the world.

The House offers self guided tours of the 3 floors, including Drawing Rooms, the Dining Room and Library. A tearoom serves light lunches, teas, coffees, wine and beer.

In the East and West Wings of the House accommodation is available on a Bed and Breakfast basis. All the rooms have views over the Italianate Gardens, Fountain and Hundred Steps. There is self-catering accommodation in the Gatelodge.

The House and Gardens are open to the public from March to October.
